Yuli Cadney-Toh has over 25 years’ experience in international architecture leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver design led buildings in Europe, USA and Australia.

Yuli formerly worked at Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners in Australia and London and most recently at Woods Bagot, as well as founding her own practice Toh Shimazaki Architecture in London.

Yuli’s understanding of high density and tall buildings is a fundamental contribution to a successful liveable city. She is currently engaging with the vision for the city of Bristol and surrounding region.

Elena studied architecture at the Universidad Politecnica de Catalunya and the University of Bath. She has worked as an architect in Spain and the UK for over 10 years. Before joining the University of the West of England in 2005, Elena built a strong profile in sustainable design at Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios, working on many pioneering and award winning projects, some as part of Europe-wide research initiatives. Now in academia, she continues to develop her research interests, which focus on the crossover between health, sustainability and architecture.

Elena is currently the Head of Department for Architecture and the Built Environment at the University of the West of England (UWE), a large and diverse department with an array of modes of delivery.

Henrik has just taken on the role ramping up BoKlok, a home ownership concept, in the UK. BoKlok is a joint venture between Skanska and IKEA with the purpose of providing sustainable quality homes at a low price, for all.

Henrik’s role as vice President BoKlok UK is to build the organization and start up a business from scratch exporting all knowledge from BoKloks 20 years of experience in being a developer of residential communities delivering over 11.000 homes. The business spans from “field to fork” meaning land acquisition, project development, sales and delivery of homes through an industrial process. The business in Sweden has had the most satisfied customers the last 2 years.

Joseph Daniels founded modular house builder and offsite construction
specialist Project Etopia in 2015 at the age of just 23. His aim was to
provide a turnkey solution to solving the housing crisis in the UK and
around the world. This ambition was fuelled by the lack of security he faced as a young man, having been made homeless on four separate occasions.

Project Etopia creates high-end and affordable smart homes using a
panelised build system, which means wall panels are constructed off site in a factory before being transported to site for assembly. Project Etopia’s
houses, apartments, school buildings and shanty replacements can be built in under four weeks and at significantly reduced cost compared with
traditional building methods.

Its designs incorporate pre-installed energy-efficient technology such as
solar power, heat recovery, mechanical ventilation and Passive House
architectural design features. Etopia also utilises ESmart, a 5G plug-in-and-play smart home system which can be used to control the settings in its homes, including blinds, lighting and music.

The serial entrepreneur has been recognised by a number of awards,
including a special recognition award in the British Property Federations
Tomorrows Leaders Awards. He is a champion of offsite construction and spoke at 2019's Futurebuild and Future Proptech conference.
