Stephen Baker
Managing Director, Goram Homes
Stephen is Managing Director of Goram Homes, and joined in 2019.
He was previously director of investment at Alliance Homes Group, where he grew the new homes function tenfold and established two commercial trading subsidiaries. He has run his own business and worked for Architen, fabric structure specialists, on a range of high-profile projects including the Millennium Dome and the British Museum. Stephen was born in Bristol and he lives in the area with his family.

Christiana Makariou
Development Manager, Goram Homes
Christiana joined Goram Homes in November 2021. She is a development professional and a Chartered Town Planner with the RTPI with a passion for successful placemaking. She is originally from Cyprus and moved to the UK in 2011. After graduating from UWE, Bristol and with a Masters in Planning and Property Development from Radboud University in the Netherlands, she gained experience in large-scale, mixed-use and masterplanned developments through working on the masterplan and detailed design and delivery of Brabazon and the YTL Arena Complex, Bristol (the former Filton Airfield and one of the largest masterplanned developments in the UK).

Jessie Wilde
Deputy Project Director, Bristol Housing Festival
Jessie is jointly responsible for the development and delivery of the festival. Her previous roles included working for a leading anti-slavery organisation, developing key stakeholder relationships and supporting organisational growth. Jessie is passionate about social justice and equality. Her work is motivated by her conviction of the value and dignity of every person. She is currently undertaking a MSt in Social Innovation at the Cambridge Judge Business School.

Jez Sweetland
Project Director, Bristol Housing Festival
Jez has initiated and managed strategic development in a variety of settings. His previous positions include CEO of Guildhall Barrister’s Chambers, and CEO of a charitable national skills training organisation. He founded the Bristol Housing Festival in 2018 and believes collaboration is the key to lasting social development. Jez lives in Bristol with his wife, Joanna and his three children.
