Community Led Development
Completed in 2016, Bristol CLT’s first community-led development of 12 homes on Fishponds Road has been a resounding success.
Built on land acquired from Bristol City Council, the focus of the homes was to create truly affordable and highly community-focused development.
Residents played an active role in the design phase as well as working together to self-finish the homes: they shared the work to complete the kitchens, bathrooms, and more, gaining ‘sweat-equity’ for their efforts.
