During our two week Showcase, we hosted and promoted a series of events which addressed several different topics around housing and innovation. We partnered with a variety of organisations to make these possible and enjoyed hearing from a range of speakers who were experts in their field.
We are delighted to host a joint event with Women in Property South West, on the lessons learnt from modular construction. Kindly hosted by Simmons & Simmons, the morning will start with breakfast and networking, followed by a panel discussion, chaired by Fadiya Ahmed.
In partnership with the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Commission on Housing, Church and Community we are delighted to host a series of presentations and debate to explore the Church’s practical response to the housing crisis as part of its mission and how trust is re-established between government, industry and the public to create a more positive context in which to meet the city’s longer term housing and community needs.
The RIBA has organised a series of lunch and learn sessions about various topics, as part of our knowledge and learning programme. In March, we launched with topic 'Architecture and Community' later in July we looked at 'Architecture and Energy', both successful events with lots of interest.
